02.19.10 Hayward Speaks at MIT Enterprise Forum Event

Chicago, IL — February 19, 2010 — VentureLab partner Laurence Hayward spoke at the event "Bootstrappers and Investors Faceoff" held Tuesday, March 16. The session featured entrepreneurs Chris Hill and Jeff Judge, who each presented his business idea and why it would be an attractive investment opportunity. Following their pitches, Hayward and Hyde Park Angels Co-Founder Jeff Carter discussed the merits and concerns from the investor's point of view as well as shed general advice on raising capital.
The event is hosted by the Chicago chapter of the MIT Enterprise Forum, an association whose goal is to build connections between technology entrepreneurs and the community in which they reside. The Forum produces a series of educational programs about entrepreneurship through a network of 24 worldwide chapters.
